The Victory Sign symbolizes one’s victory of knowledge over ignorance and the attainment of happiness.  This is a sign of victory over all disagreements, disharmonies and hinderances.  It is a symbol of the Buddha’s victory over the four hinderances (pride, desire, disturbing emotions and fear of dying) on his path to enlightenment.
