Wheel
Mindfulness · Moral Discipline
The Wheel is the symbol of Buddhist teaching—with no beginning and no end, at once in motion and at rest. This is one of the oldest symbols of Buddhism and symbolizes the Wheel of Dharma which the Buddha set in motion with his first discourse. There are three parts of the Wheel: Circle – round shape representing the perfection of the Dharma (Buddha’s teachings), Rim – represents meditative concentration and mindfulness which work together, Hub – represents moral discipline and joy.
